For no good reason I'm pushing a meme today, echoing it through the mediajunkiesphere and sending out an annoying Orkut announcement to my regretting- it- already friends. It may work or it may not but pouting never accomplished anything. The spellchec... [Read More]

Typically spell checkers suggest that I should be Aladdin Hyena

bail, bailout, bait, basic, basis, AI, and more...

This is making you look like Leonie! Young and beautiful :)

Anyway, my WP knows my name, but I am crafty:

rami rez, ameriez, raymore, ramrr, ramex, ramz, ramose, rmrs, mires, ramis, rumorer, ramifies, ramitis, rasores, rrmrs, rumored, armories, rami's, ramsey, remise, remoras, ramics, ramrod, ramses, armorers, rambooze, rimers, reamers, romaies, ramets, bemires, rameses, remiges, remises, remorse, retires, rewires, mares, mrz, rimes, rmais, rmr

Odd. My nickname, "Rayne", only produces the suggestion "rained". Past-tense. Why not a noun?

My real name brings nothing amusing, only four suggestions of other proper names -- the same ones that people typically may call me in error.

Last name is hyphenated for which the spellchecker offers nada.

Framemaker used to suggest "Framemaker" as the correct spelling of "Interleaf," back when those two companies competed. I worked for Interleaf, and I kicked myself for years that we hadn't thought of that...

OK, turns out that "Pete" is OK. For "Gaughan," the only alternative is "Vaughn".

xian, you know I get pasteurization for napsterization all the time. oh to be a spell checker dictionary list and algorithm designer. only passive agressive sadists need apply.

Had a typing class in highschool with a girl named Erica Norse, she couldn't get her computer to stop changing it to Earache Nurse. Couple years later I thought I saw her at the mall, I go up to her and start going "Earache? Earache Nurse? Yeah, hey, Earache Nurse, right on..." She was all smiling and nodding and everything so I thought she recognized me, but she wouldn't say anything. I'm pretty sure that was a different girl.
